Rannard Crawley, founder and CEO of Crawley Mediation Services, LLC, is a certified Juvenile and Domestic Relations (J&DR) Mediator based in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Born in the inner city of Richmond, Virginia and educated in public schools. He grew up living in two separate homes sharing time between parents, so he truly understands the importance of successfully navigating the challenges of co-parenting. 

His life experiences reflect his ability to relate to clients’ life challenges and guide them toward solutions. From working at low-waged jobs and having run-ins with the law in his early adulthood to overcoming early financial and personal failures he turned obstacles into motivation - including being a young father in college. Those hardships endured in his life, forged his character revealing inner strength, built resilience and foster personal growth.  

A proud graduate of Manchester High School’s Class of 2001, Rannard went on to attend Delaware State University before transferring to Winston-Salem State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics in 2006. As a dedicated student-athlete, he played football throughout high school and college, developing discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills that would later define his professional and personal life.

After college, Rannard was unable to land a job in his field so he worked at a retail store making $10.00 per hour before accepting an entry level IT position. He built a successful career in Information Technology, working over a decade in technical and corporate leadership roles - eventually managing teams of more than 70 employees and earning over six-figures. His true passion is helping people find peace and resolve conflicts. Having personally handling the complexities of family court for more than 15 years including interacting with attorneys, Rannard understands first-hand the emotional and financial toll legal disputes can take on individuals and families.

Outside of his professional work, Rannard is a proud father of three daughters and one son, and grandfather of two. He has coached his children in basketball, football and soccer, and currently serves as Head coach of his eldest daughter’s flag football team. A “Girl Dad” through and through, he values spending time with his family.

He maintains an active lifestyle – endurance training, lifting weights, and enjoying outdoor activities. He also loves traveling, having explored countries such as Germany, Costa Rica, Brazil, Mexico, Panama, Canada and the Caribbean islands.

His motto, “I’ve been where you’ve been. I understand.” - His mission is rooted in empathy and real-life experience - to help individuals and families find common ground, clarity, and closure without the expense and uncertainty of court proceedings. In addition, has a passion for mentoring and coaching individuals through life challenges.
